UPDATE ON OUR COMMUNITY - Changes coming for EnergyisHealing.com

Namaste! I'm so happy to see how fast we have grown as a community.

As starting online communities has become easier and easier many poeple have jumped in and started them. Many others are them all only to post links to their businesses or other ning communities. We will be deleting these posts, popele and gurading against it.

We are an Energy Healing Community and are here to create together.
We are not here to simply have people stop by and hit us with spam or advertisements about their other sites or businesses.

If you're referring to something in a post or in a blog by all means link to it.
If you have a community you can list it on your profile but if you never particpate or come back I will delete your profile. If you repeatlly had advertisements in your blog it will be deleted.
In exchange I will create a forum to advertise your Energy Healing related businesses :)

You will notice, I don't mask that this is a ning community any more.
The reason is Ning is becoming like face book. They're essentially letting you access all communities you are a member of from one page. This essentially means those that discover www.Ning.com will simply go there and our community will be to Ning just like a group is here inside the community to us.

So who will survive? Those that create real and meaningful communities.
Those that build relatioships with their members and ones that work to not let it become like myspace packed with spam and advertisements.

Last year I was traveling around on The Forever Green Tour. I was doing that to make money in a network marketing company so I could go volunteer full time for SpreadPeace.org.

I have decided to work full time for Spreadpeace.org and let my network marketing business grow from where it is at its own pace as it pays my bills now and allows me to work towards my dream of empowering people all over the world to spread peace and share their gifts. So that's my focus.

SpreadPeace.org is who is funding our community and I hope to grow our site even more with their help.

I will be doing a show on social networking as a fundraiser for SpreadPeace if you would like to know more on Social Networking. This is my radio show on .

I also created a page (as a fundrasier for SpreadPeace.org) that will do far more for people wanting to advertise. It's called THE MILLION DOLLAR PEACE PAGE! Donating or Investing just $1 in that will get your site searched and traffic. We have over 50 sites pointing that page.
Thats how you get traffic not by creating fake profiles in communities.

In any event I wanted to ask everyone,
Do you want to make our community so people have to be "logged in" in order to read anything?

I've lurked here for years. Never joined. I finally joined today. I would not be here if I could not see the posts; I like to know what kind of community I'm getting involved with, and if I can't see the posts, then all I have to go by is the introductory paragraph or essay--which I find seldom does justice to the community.

Then again, one of the reasons I lurked for so long without joining, is because much of what is on here is fringe--but then, if you don't let people see if they would be uncomfortable with the conversed ideas, then when the come in and are they would just leave. Thus, it would appear that you have a huge community that no one wants to participate with.
