There are so many things i wish to say here but i am like a child in a beautiful big toyshop. I just dont know where to start. Are there any members here from Ireland? I live in Ireland about 30 miles south of Dublin and would love to make friends with like minded people.

Hi there...excited to connect with other healers. My avatar is the reproduction of a dream I had shortly after deciding to make my own djembe drum. The aspects of my dream are quite shamanic....interesting for a "non-indigenous" woman living in a country where shamanism in its original form does not exist. However as a child I "felt" that I was a Native American and especially now have a very strong connection to the Hopi and also indigenous people of Chile and Peru. For a while, there was what seemed to be a faddish "Men's Movement" in the wake of the publication of John Bly's Iron John. I say "faddish" b/c it had a "weekend warrior" nature for the most part, and b/c here's the proof: It's just about vanished. Sad. I thought that we had the beginnings of something good for us emotionally stunted y-chromosomed guys.
Maybe we can start something more authentic and long-lasting?
